include new or updated computer systems.
Our refurbished cameras undergo a comprehensive refurbishment process and
includes installation and a one year warranty. UMRi currently refurbishes
equipment originally manufactured by Philips/ADAC™, GE™ and Siemens™.
What does “refurbish” mean for you?
When Universal Medical Resources refurbishes a nuclear medicine camera we:
Completely disassemble the camera
Cosmetically refurbish the camera utilizing our on site paint
facility
Completely repaint the system with OEM colors and replace all
camera decals
Reassemble camera while inspecting all mechanical assemblies
for wear and proper upgrades
Replace all lubricants with new OEM specified lubrication
Perform all assemblies utilizing OEM trained mechanical assemblers
Test all electrical and mechanical components and replace if worn
or component fails OEM specified test procedure
Disassemble detector and replace crystal with a Saint Gobain/Bicron
crystal, which includes a three-year warranty from the manufacturer
Assemble detector using high grade coupling grease
Calibrate detector electronics using OEM calibration procedures
Acquire new detector corrections that meet NEMA specifications
Calibrate all camera motions using OEM calibration procedures
Rigorous quality assurance testing performed by both an OEM trained
technician and our in-house CNMT
